By using our Service, you acknowledge that we do not perform or supervise any construction work ourselves; we simply facilitate the initial connection and payment for lead access.
Homeowner Responsibilities
Provide accurate and complete details about your project (scope, location, preferred timeline and any budget constraints).
Communicate respectfully with contractors and respond to offers in a timely manner.
Only accept an offer when you intend to hire the contractor and pay the lead fee; fees are charged once you accept.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations for your remodeling project.
Contractor Responsibilities
Provide accurate vendor profile information, including licenses, insurance, and areas of expertise.
Maintain any required licenses, certifications, and insurance to perform the services you offer.
Browse homeowner requests responsibly and submit honest, competitive offers.
Deliver quality workmanship and professional service.
Acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and are solely responsible for your work and compliance with applicable laws.
Lead Purchases & Fees
When a contractor submits an offer and the homeowner accepts it, the contractor will be charged a fixed lead fee. This fee grants access to the homeowner’s contact details so you can arrange the job.
Lead fees are non‑refundable, except where the contact information provided is invalid or fraudulent and you notify us within 48 hours of purchase. You may not resell or share homeowner contact details or leads with others.
Payments & Disputes
All payments for lead fees are processed securely via our payment gateway. Uncle Remodeling Leads is not a party to any agreements between homeowners and contractors; you are solely responsible for negotiating project terms and payments for work performed.
If you experience a dispute with another user, we encourage you to work together to resolve it. We do not mediate disputes, but you can contact us for guidance.
Independent Contractor Relationship
Contractors listed on Uncle Remodeling Leads are independent businesses. We do not employ or supervise contractors, and we do not guarantee the quality or outcome of any services they provide. Contractors are solely responsible for their work, compliance with laws, and any disputes that arise.
Limitation of Liability
Uncle Remodeling Leads is not liable for any damages, losses or injuries arising out of or related to the services provided by contractors. Our platform is offered “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Our total liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the lead fee giving rise to the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page or provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
